Please read the book by Weiten, Wayne. (2012). Psychology Applied to Modern Life:  Adjustment in the 21st Century, 10th edition. Wadsworth/Cengage Publishers
From chapter 1 to 4 before answering the questions.

WRITE A PARAGRAPH ON EACH QUESTION: Each Answer must be at least 100 words total for all parts combined.

Answer must be complete and reach at least 100 words (every number).
1. The Paradox of Progress suggests that technology and progress bring both enrichment and difficulties into our lives.  (a) What are at least two ways that you have found that technology has saved you time but also put you in a time crunch?  (b) Given your many choices – perhaps too many choices – how have these choices impacted  you?

2. (a) Can you think of  at least one way that you create stress for yourself?  (b) What might you do differently to minimize the potential for self-imposed stress?

3. Give (a) “personal examples of two of  your own anxieties or fears (e.g., an aversion to or discomfort with a situation) you think might have developed as a result of Classical Conditioning; (b) in your answer use at least “3” terms/concepts learned from the reading on classical conditioning. Underline these 3 concepts in your answer

4. Use (a) a “personal example” to clearly describe Skinner’s principles of Operant Conditioning. Be sure to (b) underline the different parts of your example using at least “3” terms/concepts learned from the reading.
